Sources
Connecting to the shared catalogue…
YouTube Shorts only. Sources are selected by the site operator; the API does not provide a definitive Shorts flag. Use Open to report a video on YouTube.
Playback
Use the circular controls on Browse to go back, go forward, toggle auto-scroll, save a favourite or open sound controls. Use the volume slider and Mute/Unmute in the pop-out. Swipe up outside the video for the next Short, or down to go back. Swipes on the player and controls are ignored. Your sound choice and YouTube volume are remembered across Shorts. Auto-scroll advances when playback ends, including when YouTube loops a completed Short. Pausing, buffering or blocked playback does not skip a Short.
Selection
Exclude videos in this browser’s history from random picks, including on reload. History keeps the last 100 displayed entries—not completed watches or an all-time watch list. Previous, favourites and deliberately opened shared links can still replay a Short. Clearing history includes those videos again. This preference stays on this device.

Each page load and Next makes a fresh random pick from eligible Shorts, with equal odds and no popularity or donation weighting. We avoid immediately repeating the current Short when another is available. Earlier videos can appear again unless “Ignore viewed Shorts” is enabled; if that leaves no videos, the feed stops. Previous goes back; Next always makes a new pick. Favourites never change the odds. Randomness applies to this curated catalogue, not all of YouTube. The initial public beta is capped at 1,000 entries.
